The State of Florida – pursuant to §627.351 FS – has approved the transfer between two of its legislatively-created corporations. The first corporation (Florida Windstorm Underwriting Association) is being engulfed by the second corporation (Citizens Property Insurance Corporation). As such, Citizen Property will acquire all of FWUA's business (eg, policies obligations; rights; assets etc.); and FWUA will cease to exist.
