CLAYTON ACT

A federal statute amending the Sherman Antitrust Act. The act prohibits certain types of price (and other) discriminations – now covered by the Robinson-Patman Act (eg, tying, exclusive dealing, total requirements agreements; mergers or acquisitions tending substantially to lessen competition in any line of commerce, and interlocking directorates).
